ACS research group has secured funding from the TUBİTAK 1001 call with the title of “Optimization of Machining Parameters for S2-glass and Basalts Fiber Reinforced Thermoset Composites with Acoustic Emission and Milling Tool Embedded with Thin Film Thermocouple“. With this project, the ACS research group will work on the process parameters that result in the least amount of micro-damage during the machining. These process parameters will be determined based on the data obtained by Acoustic Emission and Milling Tool Embedded with Thin Film Thermocouple. The duration of the project and the estimated start time of the project are 36 months and 01.11.2021, respectively.
ACS research group has secured new funding from the TUBITAK BIGG program. With this recent funding, a spin-off company, aiming to produce snowboards by using environmentally friendly material, will be created.
